Experience Description
Your experience begins with a short countryside drive from Moose Jaw to Prairie Bee Meadery, where you’ll be welcomed into our space for an afternoon of good food, great company, and a little something different.
During this hosted workshop, guests will work from an unfinished traditional mead and explore how winemakers use finishing techniques to shape the final flavour and character of a wine.
Through guided tastings and hands-on experimentation, you’ll learn how sweetness, acidity, oak, texture, fruit, and aroma affect the finished product — then apply those techniques to create a personalized mead tailored to your own taste.
Each guest will:
- experiment with a variety of finishing additions
- create a signature finished mead
- compare your unique finishing style to other guests through some sampling
