It is a truth universally acknowledged that the flavour of your honey informs the flavour of your mead. By heating honey to caramelization before fermentation, we’ve brought rich caramel colours and flavours to this mead making it a “bochet”. Our beautiful bochet has been aged in bourbon barrels, to enhance the sumptuous caramel flavour with sweet notes of smooth bourbon. This is a show-stopping limited release mead that begs to be enjoyed fireside – whether it’s a campfire, a barbeque or your gas-powered toe-warmer.

Bought this bottle at the wine and dine tour. It definitely has a distinct Bourbon taste and after burn. Very nice sipping wine. Will definitely purchase again.
