  • Don’t miss our Bee to Bottle winery tour while visiting in Moose Jaw! Book now to join Saskatchewan’s premiere meadery for a winery tour.
  • This tour is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday through to the Fall.
  • You will spend an hour plus on the tour.  In that time, we’ll introduce you to the amazing bees that create the honey that we craft into internationally award-winning wine. We’ll give you some fun facts about life in the hive, some sobering information on the importance of pollinators, and some tips on how to encourage bee activity in your own home area.
  • We use an inactive hive as a demonstrator of bee keeping equipment but do not go closer than 100m to an active hive.
  • You’ll also learn a little about the history of mead, and its renaissance in the 21st century. We’ll also introduce you to the farm and winery operations of Prairie Bee Meadery that bring this marvelous libation to our modern palates.
  • Then, discover our story, how we have grown from a simple hobby farm to Saskatchewan’s first and largest craft meadery.
  • Best of all, sample our wines in a Prairie Bee tasting glass, yours to keep at the end of your tour. Then take advantage of the opportunity to take home some of our international award-winning wines to enjoy at your own table, and share the experience with your friends and family.

We really enjoyed this fun and informative tour. Our host guide wax so knowledge, funny and friendly! We learned so much and had a great time tasting the many different flavours! Our host was very patient in answering our questions. Loved that we could “try before you buy” and our group left we our favorite new meads! Definitely a great way to spend some time laughing and learning! Highly recommend this tour and it was fabulous for our girls day out. Thank Bee Meadery for a great afternoon!

We enjoyed this tour and wine tasting in June 2021. It was so much fun, informative and the wines were delicious. I bought 5 bottles and shared with friends in the patio and took a couple of bottles to Okanagan wine country this summer to share. Love this mead!!

  3. Tyler

Had an excellent time with my wife coming here for our anniversary. Tour was great and tasting was even better! Came home with 3 bottles! Excited to continue to support a local meadery.

  4. Natasha

Hubby & I loved the “Bee to Bottle” farm tour! Crystal is extremely knowledgeable about all things honey & bees and was so excited to share her knowledge with us. Prairie Bee has an excellent variety of flavors which you can sample before you purchase, and I can assure you that none of them disappoint! This is a “must do” activity for anyone in the Moose Jaw area!
