This App-guided experience will help you uncover humanity’s partnership with honeybees – how they live, work, and keep us alive. Suitable for all ages the Pollinator Pathway is a family friendly nature trail set out across 2-acres of native prairie wildflowers. You will get hands on with an inactive hive and bee keeping equipment. Come enjoy a walk in our pollinator meadow, take a seat and embrace the summer.
This is an App-guided experience available as a drop-in during our opening hours. Tour cost is by donation only to our pollinator support program.

Discover the World of Bees on our Family Friendly Nature Trail:

Suitable for all this game will challenge you to solve riddles, puzzles and maybe even stimulate a bit of competition. Who knows the most about bees?
Pollinator Pathway Audio Tour
- Dive deeper into the world of bees with our audio-guided tour. Walk the nature trail, interact with exhibits, and enjoy a comprehensive learning experience.

Tour Availability
- Drop-in guests are welcome from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM, May to October.
- Available in English
- We recommend allocating at least an hour for this tour, more if you wish to experience the other activities to enjoy on-site.
Costs
- Self-guided tours are by donation to our pollinator support program.

- Other Tours – our Honeywine Highway Tour is also available as a hosted or app-guided experience. Learn what we do with all that honey (hint: we make alcohol!).
- Crafting – purchase a craft activity to do onsite in our crafting pavilion or take it home to complete later.
- Sipping – Prairie Bee Meadery craft international award winning meads. Enjoy a sample or mead by the glass. Sweet or dry we have something for every palette.
- Savouring – with our food offerings you can enjoy a Charcuterie, lunch box or deserts.
- Staying – we are members of the Terego & Havest Host networks. If you are a member book in through the network and bring the RV or tent trailer and stay for a night free of charge with your visit.
Accessibility & Security
- This is a family friendly activity and is focused on bees, beekeeping and agricultural information.
- The tour is set up in a 2 acre field, the pathway is mown, flat ground which is subject to burrowing animal activity. Random ground holes are possible.
- Wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility devices can access the pathway but it is not a paved surface.
- Washrooms are accessible and on the ground floor.
- Each pollinator pathway activity point has bench seating available.
- The tour route does not go within 50 metres of an active bee hive.
- Our site is pet friendly.
