We found Prairie Bee Meadery on our Harvest Host app and booked a two night stop over with our 5th wheel on our travels from Alberta to Ontario. What a nice place. We enjoyed two peaceful days in the country on their farm. We walked the self guided informative tour. The private off leash park was great for our dog, and we enjoyed a fun and informative wine tasting with Gerard. Of course we had to purchase some of their delicious wines. We're so happy we booked the experience and learned about honey and mead and honey wines. 👍Posted on Google

Lea Lebel1 August 2026Incredible little hidden gem just outside of Moose Jaw. The owner took the time to introduce their honey wines (Mead) and really showed her passion in making each flavour. Heart broken after finding out you no longer sell carbonated cans. I have literally bought nothing but since you started selling them and now I'm left with mixing your wine with sprite. Plus now instead of buying 36 dollars worth every two weeks I'll probably be able to have one 24 dollar bottle last me the whole month mixing it. Lost revenue right there.Posted on Google

Cosette Marriott5 October 2025I would suggest that the winery advises visitors to call / check in before doing the drive out, or update their hours. Otherwise you do a 40-minute drive for nothing. That's a little disappointing. The dog greeted us very sweetly, so there's that.🤷♀️Posted on Google

NOT TO MENTION the tour guides!!!! It felt like getting together with old friends and enjoying a delicious glass or two. We will definitely be back. Ali W5 July 2025I've only ever purchased at Farmers Markets before, but finally went to an actual location! It was a really nice shop, the staff was very friendly, and I love the wine. I will definitely purchase again to try more of the flavors, and I would recommend for someone to try it out if you haven't yet as well!Posted on Google

MJ Siebold17 October 2022We decided to take the "From Bee to Bottle" Winery Tour while visiting Moose Jaw & seriously can't recommend it enough! Crystal, our host & guide, was not only knowledgeable, but fun & enthusiastic in sharing her passion with us! I have done many wine tours over the years, despite not liking wine, so figured I'd just go along for the ride...it was a pleasant surprise to not only enjoy the tour, but also discovered a love of mead! If you are in the area, do it! I promise you it will be enjoyed by all! Thank you Crystal for entertaining our group...now we just need to hook you up so you can ship to Alberta! <3Posted on Facebook

Prairie Bee Meadery is the perfect host, the tour was informative, interactive and genuinely fun!!! The food at the Grant Hotel was exceptional!!! The company, not even a dream could compare!!! Learned new facts about the alcohol industry, had a great supper... but the highlight was the Samples, tasting and experiencing the mead was awesome! totally recommend the products! We will definitely we back to their retail location to purchase more! Our guide was very knowledgeable and super nice, especially since I was the first person to ever trip in a gopher hole out there. Regardless, the mead definitely helped and they have some great flavours! Fruit Fusion is so sweet, it’s basically juice. We learned a lot about bees and saw what the inside of the modern-day hives look like. Best part was that we got to keep our little wine glasses! Such a cute farm, not too far out of Moose Jaw. Loved the mead tasting and the charcuterie out on the deck overlooking the gentle hills of the nearby Missouri coteau. Felt as though I was in Tuscany. Delicious meads We loved the various mead offerings, some of which were truly spectacular. For example the chocolate cherry mead was like a fine post, oh so yummy. The tastings were fairly numerous and free which surprised the heck out of us. The only way to improve the experience would be to offer tastings for all of the products but in fairness that really wouldn't be economically feasible for the meadery to do. Krystal- the owner and tour guide did a magnificent job of explaining the history of mead, the process to make it and how she got into the business. Dianne S20 August 2021Great experience! We loved our Bee to Bottle winery tour. Our wonderful host was the owner herself and she took great pride in sharing her wealth of knowledge with us. We learned so much and had lots of laughs while doing so. They have a large sized tasting room where could observe the production area through very large windows. We received our own tasting glass and thoroughly enjoyed the samples, the stories and inspiration behind the products we tried. We moved into the bottling area and loved that we could “ Try before you buy” as each of us could try the varieties that interested us the most.
