This family friendly experience will help you uncover humanity’s partnership with honeybees – how they live, work, and keep us alive. Suitable for all ages the Pollinator Pathway is a family friendly nature trail set out across 2-acres of native prairie wildflowers, enjoy a walk in the field, take a seat and embrace the summer.  You will get hands on with an inactive hive and bee keeping equipment.

This is a hosted tour with a tour guide (which means you have to listen to our jokes) and runs Thursday to Sunday from May to October.

Costs are $25 per adult (19+). This tour is free for children with an adult accompanying them (up to 2 kids per adult).  No booking needed for kids.

We recommend an advanced booking, but drop-ins can often bee accommodated.

I don’t like honey – what have bees done for me lately?  What is a skep? How stylish would I look in a bee bonnet?   You will also get a glimpse of the future of the human/bee partnership – robohives are in use today across North America.
