All Access Pass

Update for Oct 15th, 2024 – Our 2024 winery tours have finished for the season.  Book for 2025 or contact us for a special appointment.

You don’t get the giant scissors but you will see it all using the all access day pass.  Firstly you will journey along the family friendly Pollinator Pathway with a 1-hr guided tour to discover humanity’s partnership with honeybees – how they live, work and keep us alive.  Next explore our site, then join the Honey Wine Highway tour where you will find how science and art is blended to create mead.  The adults can round out this second 1-hr tour with some mead sampling, sage nods about product quality and other knowing, sophisticated wine type comments that will win the admiration of any wine judge.  Meanwhile the kids can paint a cookie in the crafting pavilion and then consume it like true connoisseurs.

The All Access Day Pass also unlocks your special ability to download the “Prairie Bee” app from the iOS or Android store to listen to an audio tour or compete to answer questions and solve riddles on our mobile game.

Pollinator Pathway tours start at 1pm and Honey Wine Highway tours start at 3pm.

Cost is $35 per adult (19+) and Children $15 (10-18).  Under 10’s can attend the tours for free and don’t need a booking.

Description

Update for Oct 15th, 2024 – Our 2024 winery tours have finished for the season.  Book for 2025 or contact us for a special appointment.

The all access day pass will see you journey along the family friendly Pollinator Pathway with a 1-hr guided tour to discover humanity’s partnership with honeybees – how they live, work and keep us alive.  Next, explore our site, then visit the Honey Wine Highway where you will find how science and art is blended to create mead.  Round out this second 1-hr tour with some mead sampling.  While the adults do the wine tour, the kids get a paintable cookie to, well, paint and then eat in the crafting pavilion or drop crumbs in the back of your car.

The All Access Day also grants you the secret ability to download the “Prairie Bee” app from the iOS or Android store to listen to an audio tour or compete in a contest to answer questions and solve riddles on our mobile game.

You can choose any of these extras to round out your visit.

  • Crafting – purchase a craft activity to do onsite in our crafting pavilion or take it home to complete later.
  • Sipping – Prairie Bee Meadery craft international award winning meads.  Enjoy a sample or mead by the glass.  Sweet or dry we have something for every palate.
  • Savouring – with our food offerings you can enjoy a Charcuterie, lunch box or deserts.
  • Staying – we are members of the Terego & Havest Host networks.  If you are a member book in through the network and bring the RV or tent trailer and stay for a night free of charge with your visit.

The only fixed times for activities during the day are the hosted tours.

The Pollinator Pathway tours start at 1pm and Honey Wine Highway tours start at 3pm.

Cost is $35 per adult (19+) and Children $15 (10-18).  Under 10’s can attend the tours for free and don’t need a booking.

We open at 11:30am and close at 6:30pm Tuesday to Sunday.
