We are Prairie Bee Meadery – Saskatchewan’s premiere producer of mead. We craft internationally award winning meads from local premium honey.  Sound pretty good right.  Back when I worked for a large oil and gas company people seemed to be impressed that I was the part owner of a winery.  It can be very satisfying work, but oh so much potential for disaster.

This part of our website is intended to be a repository of some of our stories.  As I rewrite this introduction in January of 2024, it occurs to me that it has been three years since our last website update and we haven’t written down many stories so far.  I think I was a bit deflated when a couple of years ago I announced to the staff that any of them could write a story for the blog.  The response was “who writes blogs anymore?”  This is my marker to try again.
